The Night Glastonbury Comes Unalive!

Glastonbury Zombie Walk Brings Halloween Frights and Fun to the Town!

Glastonbury came alive with spooky excitement on Saturday 31st October as the annual Zombie Walk took over the town centre for an evening of Halloween entertainment, music, dancing and plenty of zombies!

The free event brought together families, friends and Halloween enthusiasts, with crowds gathering to enjoy the festivities and show off their fantastic zombie costumes.

The Zombie Walk was officially released by the Town Crier at 6.30pm, as a spectacular procession made its way up and down Glastonbury High Street, filling the streets with spooky sights and Halloween spirit.

Throughout the evening, Magdalene Street was alive with entertainment from:

  • Dante CW Youth Committee

  • Morgan CW Youth Committee

  • Glastonbury Dragon Drummers

  • Glastonbury Morris Dancers

  • Devito’s Circus

  • Amanda Perry

Visitors also had the opportunity to head upstairs at the Crown Pub, where Children’s World provided free face painting and costumes, helping everyone transform into their most frightfully fun zombie selves!

The event was a fantastic celebration for all ages, bringing the community together for an evening of Halloween fun.

Road closures were in place from 4pm until 8pm to help ensure the event and procession could take place safely.

Although the Zombie Walk was free to attend, donations were warmly welcomed in support of Children’s World. Every contribution helped support the valuable work of the charity, and all donations were greatly appreciated.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, helped organise the event and supported Children’s World. Your enthusiasm and generosity helped make the Glastonbury Zombie Walk a spooktacular community celebration!

Thank you for helping us raise the dead in Glastonbury this Halloween!
