BACK TO THE '80s with BAKED ALASKA

— A Totally Radical Night Out! —

September 5th, British Legion, Farm Road, Street. 7.30pm - late

What happens when a couple of washed‑up, big‑haired, synth‑soaked wannabe pop stars discover the 80s are cool again?

They stage the comeback nobody asked for — and everyone will want to see!

Baked Alaska are dusting off the shoulder pads, recharging the keytar, and hitting the road…

Even though they can’t stand each other.

Even though neither can remember the lyrics.

Even though their “glory days” never actually happened.

Get ready to laugh, cringe, sing, and cheer as Baked Alaska — the self‑proclaimed “Synthpop Spinal Tap” — drag you through the outrageous highs and disastrous lows of the fame they almost had.

Expect:

  •  Ridiculous retro bangers

  •  Elaborate, and mostly enhanced stories from their “career”

  •  Dramatic split‑ups

  •  Even more dramatic comebacks

  •  A full‑throttle 80s nostalgia trip

Plus:

  • Extra evening entertainment

  • A fabulous raffle

  • 80s dress‑to‑impress encouraged (but not required — leg warmers optional!)

This spectacularly silly fundraiser helps Children’s World continue delivering vital services throughout 2026–27, supporting local children and families, bridging the gap of fundraising during the Glastonbury Festival fallow year.

Your support means the world — and guarantees a night of neon‑soaked nonsense you won’t forget.
