Transition

Moving from Primary to Secondary School can be a difficult and traumatic time for children, despite the excellent preparation work done by schools.

In the case of workshops targeted specifically at Transition from Primary to Secondary Education the material is aimed particularly at dissipating concerns the children may have, and helping them see how they can look after themselves and their “mates” well, and be successful and confident in a new environment.

This workshop is run by a 3-person Children’s World team (we feel this workshop needs a female member of staff as well as Paddy and Charlie) and works with just 30 students for the whole day. Cost : £450 plus mileage

“Thank you for finding us and helping us prepare the way for Year 7. We really enjoyed working with you. Watching the children was breathtaking - just how beautiful is a face full of trust! Your Transition Workshop Days were an excellent first experience of bringing the different feeder schools together in a safe environment. The new Year 7 seem much more at ease than in previous years”.
Maria Narroways, Senco & Deputy Head, Crispin School, Street.
