Arabella's Diary

Friday 4 March 2005

Map of Sri Lanka showing tsunami statistics This Mini-Tour of Sri Lanka 5-29 March is being undertaken by Arabella Churchill, the Director of Children’s World and Children’s World International and a performer as a precursor to a far larger 4-person, 4-month Performance, Workshop and Play Tour September-December 2005. 4 MARCH 2005:

Well, we are nearly on our way (no thanks to Travelbag who have lost my tickets!) The Clown has just finished the last first aid shopping and is now on his way to stay with his family near Gatwick. I am finishing up all necessary arrangements for the trip, getting my Children’s World and Glastonbury Festival work as up to date as possible, and I will be leaving at about 5.00 to drive to a Gatwick hotel to stay overnight, before meeting the Clown at the airport tomorrow morning at 8.00 and flying out at 10.00 am (as long as Travelbag have sorted out my tickets! Not a lot of room left for clothes - but hey - it’s actually the most efficient packing I’ve ever done. I will write more as soon as we get there......
