Work in schools and special schoolsFirst half Autumn Term 2002: Five-week SLD Drama Tour for children with Severe Learning Difficulties.Second half Autumn Term 2002:
First half Spring Term 2003: Six-week MLD Video Tour for children with Moderate Learning Difficulties and emotional and behavioural difficulties. 2ND HALF SPRING TERM 2003: PROBLEM-SOLVING ROLE-PLAY, BULLYING & PEER PRESSURE WORKSHOPS, LTSA TRAININGS 1ST HALF SUMMER TERM 2003: 6-WEEK PUPPETRY WORKSHOP WEEK TOUR, ENCOURAGING INTEGRATION & COMMUNICATION FOR SPECIAL SCHOOLS AND THEIR NEIGHBOURING MAINSTREAM SCHOOLS 2ND HALF SUMMER TERM 2003: TRANSITION WORKSHOPS; COMMISSIONED "ARTS WEEK" & OTHER MAINSTREAM AND SPECIAL SCHOOLS WORK WE WILL CONTINUE RUNNING OUR AVALON SPECIAL SCHOOL GARDEN PROJECT AND WILL ALSO CONTINUE TO MAKE THE SENSORY DOME & OUR NEW SOFT PLAY INFLATABLE AVAILABLE TO SPECIAL SCHOOLS Half Terms and HolidaysDuring non-school periods, Children's World will continue to provide Sensory Dome packages and play packages to different groups for families with children who have special needs.We hope to undertake some creative after-school play work with children from under-privileged areas on local estates. Bristol Children's Festival will take place on 25, 26, 27 & 28 July 2003 The 22nd Glastonbury Children's Festival will take place on 1, 2, 3, & 4 August 2003. |
