The 4th Bristol Children's Festival 2003A FEAST OF PERFORMANCE, PARTICIPATION AND FUN12.00 noon to 6.00 p.m. on the Bristol Downs (just past the Water Tower)25, 26, 27 & 28 JULY 2003 On each day there will be 20 performances in the Marquee, on the Outside Stage & in the Arena: from the wonderful Parachute Theatre Company, Rudi Wallenda & his Exploding Clown Car, Haggis & Charlie - Jugglers Extraordinaires, the entertaining Blue Moon Theatre, the youthful & dynamic Rhythm Project and World Music Choir and, all the way from New Zealand, the hysterical juggling duo, Mr. and Mrs. Sideways (all these on all 4 days); and from Circus Fudge (25th), Foolhardy Folk (26th), Theatre of Adventure (27th & 28th), Devilstick The Clown (25th & 28th) & Tip the Wink Puppet Company (26th & 27th) There will be workshops galore: Juggling & Circus Skills Workshops twice each day, and you can learn to play percussion with The Rhythm Project, or you can go to the Craft Marquee & participate in Hat, Mask & Costume Making workshops so that you are beautifully dressed for each day's Grand Parade. Design & make your own badge and have your face painted. Make something in clay or join in Avon Gorge & Downs Wildlife Project's animal kite-making workshops. And be sure to come and perform in each day's Talent Show and receive a Certificate of Merit & a small prize! Large Scale Fun is on offer - be rolled over by Co-Ordinated Chaos's Monster Ball & dance with Anne Harris' Menagerie of Giant Inflatable Animals. Plus - Velcro Wall, Giant Inflatable Slide, Bouncy Castles, Ball Pools, and more……. ONCE THE ENTRANCE FEE HAS BEEN PAID, ALL THE ABOVE PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES ARE FREE!
