Our sister Charity (Registration Number 1079546), was set up in 1999 so that we could take a play and workshop team to Kosovo and Albania in the wake of the war (the geographical remit of Children's World extending only to the South-West of England). In June 2002, in conjunction with Contact-a-Family, Children's World International ran integrational ("special needs" & "able" children) cross-community workshops in Belfast, which were very successful. Contact-a-Family have now raised funds to cover the costs of a further visit and have invited us to run more integrational, cross-community workshops in Belfast and the surrounding area in November 2003. It is possible that Children's World International may also undertake more work in Albania, in the future, if time and funds allow.
